Our Post-Grad entry level opportunities are designed to allow for quick assimilation into the logistics and transportation industry and provide a platform for collegiate concepts to be applied in real world situations. Our Post-Grad hires have a history of advancing through multiple roles with increased responsibilities and challenges. 


The entry level Asset & Capacity Planner is responsible for securing adequate capacity for booked freight using company assets, and then coordinating the movement of goods from shipper to destination so that deliveries are on time and in compliance with government regulations, company standards and customer expectations.

This role is ideal for someone who can think quickly on both a detailed and big picture scale, and enjoys uncovering those hard-to-find solutions (and backup solutions to your solutions) within large sets of data.

Post Graduate: Asset & Capacity Planner Role:

  • Balance and maintain trailer pool inventory by directing outbound drivers to areas with surging coverage needs
  • Continually monitor incoming load request noting locations for pick-up, delivery, dates and required times
  • Pair trucks that are empty and/or unloading soon with freight needing to be picked up, and confirm dispatch assignments with drivers. Ensure all trucks have appropriate transit documents and customs clearances
  • Adjust dispatch plans and reallocate trailers as necessary to meet changing service needs (breakdowns, lateness, driver hours available, etc.)
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting as required

Post Graduate: Asset & Capacity Planner Profile:

  • Highly motivated graduates with a passion and desire to learn about the growing transportation industry. Those who are most successful in our entry level Planning positions are highly adaptable and possess strong multi-tasking skills
  • Have successfully completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field at an accredited college or university. Supply Chain/Operations discipline is ideal
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Be available to start full-time employment in 2017
  • Have the right to work in the U.S. without restriction
