You will partner with our Market Access Team to lead multiple high impact projects. Our VP of Business Development leads several functions: Medical Billing, Market Access, and Partnership opportunities. 

Your work will focus on optimizing our insurance reimbursement, which is a major component of both our business model and our ability to help women get greater access to healthcare. Your responsibilities will range from high-level strategic support to day-to-day operations to expand our monetization potential.

  • Embrace sometimes big and ambiguous ideas and help define in strategic and structured ways
  • Create new metrics/analysis and build strategies to optimize insurance-based monetization
  • Ability to grasp an understanding of key players in the insurance reimbursement space, creatively bring new monetization ideas and conduct market research to evaluate feasibility
  • Provide analytical rigor to the current Market Access operations and empower the team to make data driven decisions
  • Together with the Market Access Team, lead new initiatives to test and operationalize new revenue opportunities both within the world or insurance and beyond
  • Proactively collaborate with with key stakeholders like operations, product/engineering, and marketing - catalyzing cross functional work to amplify our monetization and business performance
  • Bring a thoughtful approach to building strong relationships and building influence across a complicated organization
  • Clearly communicate wins and successes as well as risks, roadblocks, and deal breakers
  • Inspire passion for our mission across the company


  • 3-8 years of business experience, ideally with some experience in healthcare reimbursements/payments Entrepreneurial self starter who can work independently with limited direction
  • Business athlete who easily moves between strategic and operational aspects of job, and who is happy to roll up sleeves to get any job done
  • Highly quantitative work style, with command of business drivers, metrics, and great facility in utilizing data
  • Excellent and high impact communicator who can recalibrate across context, audience, and purpose
  • Track record of ambition and excellence through educational and professional endeavors
  • High integrity, discrete, always earning the trust of collaborators
  • 2+ years of management consulting or investment banking experience at a top firm is preferred
This is a full-time position, remote possible, in San Mateo, CA - when offices reopen.
