As Real Estate Manager, you will report directly to the COO and work with the CEO and other senior leaders in the company to define where Voleon should position its headquarters for the future. You will lead the exploration and execution of purchasing commercial office space and leasing interim space, ensuring that the company plans appropriately to design and use space in ways that enhance your colleagues' experience and effectiveness. This work will entail extensive coordination with internal and external groups. This role is a means to make a difference: you will structure and execute on long term plans, transactions, and build-outs that will define where and how we work.
Work with the COO and facilities team to set Voleon's long term real estate plan for our corporate office
Lead the process of sourcing and purchasing commercial office space for Voleon
Lease additional office space as-needed
Negotiate with external parties
Identify and structure relationships with third parties needed for transactions, due diligence, and construction. Coordinate their work and involvement in projects
Work with the CFO, internal finance teams, and third parties in preparing materials for financing
Oversee the inspection and rigorous review of properties
Help think through potential property management needs and structures
Navigate any needed local government interactions
At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions
A track record of executing commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
Demonstrated excellence in leading negotiations
Experience working closely with executive management and creating executive-level communications
Authorization to work in the United States
