As a Systems Administrator, you will design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure across the firm with a particular emphasis on Apple Mac desktop and corporate services, including help-desk and ticket tracking, as well as various office equipment. Endpoints are primarily Mac OS, but Windows and backend Linux are used as well. You will be a member of the Systems team, which is flexible in supporting a growing, dynamic team of software, research, and systems engineers. This role is a means to make a difference: you will maintain the backbone of a rapidly growing technology enterprise.
Administer and maintain enterprise management/MDM/deployment suite
Manage technical and hardware onboarding of new users (including monitors, VoIP phones, laptops, and required accessories)
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on employee laptops (Mac OS)
Respond to tickets quickly and efficiently
Administer Zoom-based conference rooms, on-prem PBX, and VOIP phones
At least three years of experience administering Mac and iOS systems (ideally with Jamf Pro/Casper and via the command line)
Demonstrable experience scripting in Bash and/or Python
Familiarity with Linux (RedHat), Office365, Windows management
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Customer-focused, service-oriented and works well in a team
Able to work independently with little supervision
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Ansible on Linux and Mac and/or Apple DEP and VPP
Experience in a Linux environment (RHEL/CentOS 6/7) is a plus
Proclivity for open source
