To achieve our ambitious plans, we’re looking for an ambitious Senior Programmatic Display Marketing Executive looking to join our fast-paced and innovative online performance marketing team.  
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new customers and transactions through a mix of optimised display channels and effective management of the different levers for volume and efficiencies. Collaboration is critical across the software development team (for tagging) the broader Online Marketing team and the data/CRM team (for feeds) as well as a number of external partners for delivery.
 
You are looking for the opportunity to use your analytical skills to make decisions which are based on data and thus drive greater autonomy in role. 
  
A team player with excellent communication skills, you must be able to work cross-functionally, and possess strong influencing skills.  You must be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, dealing with complex legal issues.  In addition, you’ll need to be commercially astute and demonstrate a strong understanding of business. 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Managing Trainline’s programmatic Display campaigns
o   Utilising display management tools such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM) and Bid Manager (DBM) to help drive KPIs
o   Budget planning and performance monitoring
o   Audience segmentation and targeting (both prospecting and retargeting)
o   Campaign, creative and bidding optimisation
 
Testing and Analysis
o   Constantly testing new strategies, creative, messaging and funnel tactics
o   Troubleshooting delivery issues on all campaigns
o   Using data to build recommendations for optimisation
 
Reporting
o   Prepare analyses to help provide insights to the wider team
o   Help create forecasts for performance and budget
o   Manage regular reports for both wider business and marketing-specific use
 
Knowledge & Experience
·        Minimum 2:1 degree. Numerate/scientific subject preferred
·        Experience using Display management platforms such as adservers and DSPs (with preference for Google stack)
·        Proficiency with MS Office applications, with advanced MS Excel experience
·        Ability to work with large data sets and interpret trends
·        Understanding of analytics software (eg. GA) and tracking/attribution platforms
·        Some experience with data querying/analysis tools (such as SQL, Hive, Python) desirable but not essential
