Twilio is seeking a Telecom Regulatory Affairs Analyst to help support our telecommunications regulatory function within our legal team.  You are the right person for the role if you like the challenge of supporting a fast growing company that is innovating in the world of communications.  You will support Twilio in understanding and fulfilling its telecommunications regulatory affairs obligations in various countries around the world. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who not only understands telecommunications regulations, but also understands the practical obstacles of implementing compliance in a complex technological ecosystem, has experience working cross-functionally to overcome those obstacles, and enjoys the challenge of it all.


Twilio is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Analyst with experience providing practical guidance to companies operating under multiple telecommunications regulatory frameworks.

  • You must have 3-5 years work experience with a telecoms operator, consultancy, European or national regulatory agency in the area of telecommunications laws and regulations.
  • BA/MA in Law, Economics Political Science or other related discipline.
  • You have experience tracking and filing telecommunications regulatory compliance requirements.
  • You are a creative problem solver with a demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic advice.
  • Fluency in English with additional language an advantage.


As a Telecom Regulatory Affairs Analyst, you will

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with telecoms regulations.

  • Aide and Assist business divisions in submitting regulatory data submissions.

  • Advise and coordinate the development of company views on telecommunications
    regulatory matters.

  • Support internal business division on relevant regulatory aspects of commercial dealings when

  • Manage responses to regulatory communications, enforcement actions and other government inquires and consultations.

  • Provide end-to-end analysis and support to ensure compliance and follow-up in the countries where Twilio intends to offer services.

  • Aide in the representation of Twilio’s interest before regulatory authorities in areas pertaining to telecommunications regulation.

  • Assist in market access and licensing activities within the European Union.

  • Monitor legislation and regulation that may potentially impact Twilio and track the same.

  • Identify key regulatory opportunities and risks, advise/support Twilio to protect against, and/or take advantage of them; champion informed risk taking and innovation.
