Twilio is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to design, develop, deploy and operate services across multiple teams to help deliver real-time, low latency data streaming products for our customers. You will need to be able to think at scale and meet high availability goals, bringing a focus on solving resiliency, latency and quality challenges in our virtualized cloud environment.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants to join our Data Taps team out of Madrid, Spain.  You should be passionate about building and operating a highly resilient infrastructure that provides critical services for our customers.

  • Experience with complex distributed systems.
  • Production Java, Scala experience.
  • Comfortable with Python.
  • Experience in designing real-time data delivery systems.
  • Experience working in the cloud, AWS, Google, Azure.
  • Experience with Kafka/Kinesis or other distributed streaming platforms.
  • Experience with Spark structured streaming or equivalent experience in other streaming infrastructure.
  • Bonus points for experience with Kafka Streams, GraphQL.
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

What?

A great day for you would be working together in a  small but collaborative team, building complex streaming solutions that deliver mission-critical data to our customer's cloud in real-time. The data published through Data Taps will be used by our customers to power their own insights and monitoring of critical communications workloads that they rely on Twilio to power.

  • Design complex solutions to solve customers needs.
