The Twitch Content team is a mission-driven organization to become the platform of choice for anyone who creates long-form interactive content. We work with broadcasters, media companies, team owners, esports leagues, and game publishers to connect our audience with the content they love.  The VP, Twitch Emerging Content is responsible for the strategy and business management of a new initiative being developed by Twitch to fast track our growth in premium and beyond gaming categories. This role with be the Single Threaded Leader driving Twitch’s most important metric, Hours Watched (HW), for all premium content initiatives that span from gaming to new verticals. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally across the entire organization including Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Finance and Legal. You will work side by side with the VP of Content Product and Engineering to launch the next phase of this initiative. This role is responsible for developing a pipeline of premium partners, acquiring their content, innovating on the business strategy, developing the optimal programming lineup for our audience, and growing the business. You will leverage your knowledge and contacts in the technology and media industries to make Twitch a destination of choice for studios, networks and content producers. This is a global effort.


  • Strategy: develop and refine strategy for our Emerging Content team. Champion project across Twitch product, BD and marketing organizations.
  • Source and Recruit: source media and premium content partners for Twitch across our target verticals and recruit them to the platform.
  • Acquisition: focuses on structuring and negotiating deals onto the Twitch platform.
  • Programming Management: focuses on optimizing the channel selection to meet the marketing segmentation target audiences.
  • Content Analytics: provides analytics on channel performance, determines content that is resonating with our audience, coordinates marketing support, etc.

  • Ability to articulate and socialize needs and drive plans with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in content, partnerships and strategy.

  • Ability to lead matrix teams and work well with peers across the organization.
