The Director - Global Talent Programs is responsible for the oversight and leadership of the talent programs strategy and activities including: talent development, partnering with the People Partners and other stakeholders to develop succession planning, behavioral and technical competencies, career pathing, wellness initiatives, performance review processes, engagement programs and initiatives to name a few.

The Director - Global Talent Programs and team are accountable for delivering creative and agile learning strategies and experiences that ensures leaders are supported in building stable talent pipelines and a culture of continuous learning and development that strives to ensure Twitch continues to be a great place to work and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of talent strategies and design of programs to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent
  • Partner with People partners and business leaders to ensure talent programs are contributing to the advancement of business objectives
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for talent programs
  • Direct and implement performance management program, including semi-annual performance review processes
  • Develop programs to support ongoing career development and succession planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with People Partners to identify and manage critical roles
  • Support succession planning, particularly for leadership and critical roles
  • Work with People Partners to identify high potential employees and actively monitor and facilitate their career development
  • Partner with People Partners to and maintain behavioral and technical competency models
  • Facilitate collaboration between Talent Programs, People Partners, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and People Technology to execute and administer talent development, engagement, wellness, and retention programs and tools
  • Conduct internal and external talent management benchmarking activities to update tools and methodologies
  • Lead and manage Talent Programs organization

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources, Talent, or related field
  • 3+ years leading a global Human Resources function
  • 3+ years leading the learning and development function
  • 3+ years developing performance management strategy
  • 3+ years managing engagement initiatives
  • Stunning employee communications experience using a variety of mediums
  • Change management experienceProject management experience
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving multiple work streams successfully
  • Ability to navigate organizations both vertically and horizontally
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Travel as necessary
