What You'll Do:

Uptake is looking for a prolific and talented content creator to write and produce sales enablement and marketing content. You will equip sales teams with enablement tools to successfully prospect, engage, and win business. You will also drive new revenue by educating the market, contributing to customer facing marketing content, campaigns, and creating demand for Uptake solutions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content that educates customers about how Uptake’s products and solutions deliver value across key industrial market segments
  • Collaborate with teammates in Marketing, Product, and Sales to create, organize, and deliver collateral that helps Account Executives generate buyer interest and convert customers
  • Manage the content creation process for a range of formats, including case studies, white papers, data sheets, white papers
  • Contribute to the creation of positioning, story, and messaging that effectively differentiates Uptake’s product portfolio from competitors in specific markets

Qualifications:

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in marketing, product marketing, solution marketing, or integrated campaign experience for enterprise software companies
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills—especially a strong ability to translate between technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience creating the whole spectrum of sales and marketing tools and collateral (websites, presentations, sell sheets, white papers, case studies, demos, and training materials) that communicate a complex value proposition 
  • A collaborative mindset, proven success fostering internal/external relationships, and demonstrated ability to influence both up and across
  • Strong project management skills

Preferred

  • BS/MS or advanced degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business, Communications, Science, Technology, or Engineering
  • Experience and domain expertise in at least one of the following priority industrial areas for Uptake: Power & Utilities, Chemical Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Mining, Transportation
  • Experience in IoT, Big Data, and Analytics and familiarity with the industrial buyer’s journey
