The Digital Marketing Experience Team at Visa is looking for a Lead UI Engineer with strong UI/UX technical skills and complete understanding of the agile development process to join our team. Build Single Page Applications that consume REST services
Analyze existing software for Usability and Accessibility issues and provide recommendations for improvement
Work with a diverse team of product owners, UX designers, and developers in a fast paced environment, with quick iterative cycle
Keep up to date with the latest trends in web engineering and introduce them into projects when appropriate
Drive Test Driven Development
Drive Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery pipeline
Ensure the product adheres to architecture standards, risk management standards, and security policies.
Set and drive Front-end best practices across the organization
· 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• 6 or more years of UI Engineering work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular, Vue or React
• Experience building Single Page Applications that consume REST services
• Experience with Web Standards and Accessibility Best Practices
• Experience driving front-end solutions cross-team and cross-org
• Experience with Responsive Design Principles
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
