The Release Integration Solutions Engineering team is looking for Senior QA Automation engineers. We need a highly motivated and skilled Automation Engineer that is passionate on using modern software engineering and testing principles to Automate and deliver robust applications to our global users.

The successful candidate will support Automation efforts for the DDP applications, work with other peer test engineering organizations to ensure seamless code releases.

Essential Functions

  • Build UI and API based test automation framework to support DDP programs and applications improving quality and performance.
  • Implement efficient, customizable, and efficient test automation suites by follow coding and test automation best practices and standards.
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand and gather requirements and features and implement automation test to certify the features
  • Investing appropriately in process changes, automation, tools etc. to reduce, improve and simplify the overall testing effort for the product.

    This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms.

Basic Qualifications

- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Experience in Mobile application automation across Android and iOS.
- Hands-on automation experience in UI\API automation using Java/Spring, Soap UI, Selenium
- Experience in Selenium/Appium.
- Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++.
- Strong Unix/Linux skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language (bash, Python, Ruby).
- Knowledge of iOS tools, technologies - Instruments, TestFlight, Apple developer ecosystem, AppStore requirements.
- Experience using XCode.
- Experience using Android SDK, Android Studio, Eclipse IDE, Gradle, Microsoft AppCenter.
- Experience working with CI/CD.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Knowledge of API and UI functional, automation, performance, and security testing along with familiarity of industry wide tools such as Rest Assured, SOAP, Mocha, Cai, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
- Knowledge on building mobile application tests using any preferred test automation framework and testing it across local and cloud based mobile devices.
- Experience in testing and automating Web applications
- Good knowledge of SQL and DB concepts.
- Be inquisitive in nature and innovative in approach.
- Be a technologist - happy and confident of writing code/script to test applications or build test frameworks across different technologies.
- Passion for high quality software engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among concurrent projects.
- Flexibility to work with distributed global teams.
