We are seeking a Production Coordinator for our reconditioning facility in Manheim, PA to plan, direct and coordinate all vehicle reconditioning activities. The Coordinator will be responsible for helping to improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. Must have the ability to work Monday- Saturday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for directing and managing overall flow of vehicles through receiving, reconditioning, and shipping process to Vroom’s reconditioning standards through close guidance from the Remote Recon Manager
  • Responsible for meeting key metrics such as; quality, throughput, cost, and other KPIs as determined by the leadership team
  • Identify and innovate new solutions for bottlenecks in reconditioning flow as they appear at scale
  • Coordinate and communicate cross-functionally with sales, fulfillment, buyers, quality, and the management team
  • Make Safety a priority at all times
  • Contribute towards the achievement and development of Vroom’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Confirm movement of all assigned inventory in remote recon partners’ system(s) and Vroom inventory management systems
  • Inspect vehicles for product quality according to company standards
  • Provide feedback to the company on process improvement and customer response.
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations
  • Accurately complete all reports as assigned
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • GED or High School diploma is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets is necessary.
  • Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms; equally adept in communicating upwards, across, and downwards
  • Analytical thinking, metrics obsessed, detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills
  • 3+ years in an automotive related field preferred
  • Able to drive various vehicles including automatic and manual transmissions
