WeWork is currently seeking a Sales Director for our New Member Development team. This leadership position will assume ownership of our outbound sales development function across North America, including the direct management of sales managers, as well as strategic business leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to help effectively build and scale an explosive growing business, and to take a top performing team to it’s next level. This is a full time position reporting to our VP, New Member Development.
As a successful Sales Director, New Member Development your primary responsibilities will include (though will not be limited to):
Act as a GM of the outbound sales function across North America, assuming full ownership of business strategy and leadership.
Lead, develop, and coach a team of New Member Development Sales Managers and optimize team structure and processes in key areas such as; role definition, hiring, onboarding, ongoing skill testing, performance management, etc.
Partner heavily with key stakeholders across WeWork’s growth organization to increase fluidity and optimization of new business opportunities, ensure proper pipeline development to meet short term and long-term revenue goals from lead generation
Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure operational efficiency of the team, implement and manage change initiatives

Education and Experience Requirements:
At least 8 years of total sales experience, 4 years of true sales leadership experience
Proven track record of building and growing sales teams that meet and exceed goals
Proven track record in a closing role at an Enterprise company reaching and exceeding goals
Deep knowledge of automation platforms and CRM, specifically Salesforce
Experience evaluating, implementing and utilizing lead generation and sales automation platforms
Experience in fast growth environments
Strong analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big-picture issues

Ability to demonstrate strong communications, project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
