Growth Operations, Learning and Development Manager

As the Growth Operations Learning & Development Manager, you will create and implement strategic training and sales development programs that scale across WeWork’s high-growth, fast-paced, global Growth organization. You will be responsible for building and driving innovative training and user development programs in alignment with projects and quarterly initiatives and to partner with internal stakeholders and product managers to design and deliver successful trainings across the sales organization. The Growth Operations Learning & Development Manager will become quickly familiar with Growth business processes, rules of engagement, and critical sales systems, and will partner closely with key business leaders to ensure training programs support and align with larger company goals.

This is a full time, onsite position based in WeWork’s HQ (Chelsea, NY) location. The role reports to the Director of Business Systems.


  • Work closely with the Growth Operations Business Systems team to create, plan, organize, schedule, and deliver comprehensive sales training programs that support and align with all incremental and quarterly project deliverables

  • Collaborate with Business Systems, Product, Tech, and Sales Operations to create, update, and deliver training programs and materials that are effective and scalable and designed to improve the overall productivity of the sales force

  • Partner strategically with Growth stakeholders to understand key business objectives, quarterly roadmaps, and incremental project launches and consistently translate these into tactical training materials

  • Own, maintain, and socialize the Growth training and development roadmap to ensure that it aligns with all quarterly project initiatives and deliverables

  • Own, maintain, and continually update  all training and development related content, materials, and resources to ensure that content aligns with changes made to Salesforce features, functionality, and related sales processes and policies

  • Develop ongoing training programs that enable sales users to effectively leverage sales intelligence platforms, sales prospecting tools, and integrated activity management apps

  • Schedule, manage logistics, and socialize training sessions from end-to-end, including post-training follow up and evaluation to ensure content is understood and retained

  • Implement processes to identify and analyze sales performance gaps and develop training initiatives and programs to help drive results

  • Continually seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of training programs, platforms, and materials

  • Perform ongoing needs assessments and recommend appropriate delivery methods for all training requests to drive Salesforce adoption and keep sales users updated, engaged, and motivated

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions using clear, creative, and engaging instructional materials for in-person, virtual, and self-study training

  • Facilitate ongoing user feedback via user surveys and use the results to continually improve and support user training needs

  • Communicate upcoming training topics, sessions, schedules, and results to Sales Management and Growth Operations leadership on a regular and consistent basis

  • Research and partner with leading LMS vendors for key learning initiatives, content creation, and training and content consumption

  • Develop a roster of unique and scalable learning experiences that include a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1:1 sessions, and e-learning to support users across varying knowledge levels, regions, and time zones

  • Support and enable Sales Operations Managers to train their stakeholders by developing “train-the-trainer programs”

  • Create and update training materials, user manuals, solution playbooks, and other documents and materials as needed

  • Manage stakeholder satisfaction

  • Conduct post training evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful training elements


  • A bachelor’s degree or master degree in a related field

  • Track record of designing engaging, creative, and impactful in-person and online trainings to improve individual and sales team performance

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and leading sales and marketing tools

  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and listening skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

  • Adaptable to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize, and carry out multiple, detailed tasks


  • 5+  years of experience leading Sales Training or Learning & Development

  • Experience training in a fast-paced, global tech company

  • Experience delivering training through various channels and methods including virtual tools

  • Deep experience designing and developing learning programs across various delivery mediums and time zones, including in-person training, remote synchronous training, and online modules as well as experience creating a framework for assessing, measuring, and tracking Learning and Development program success

  • Proven track record working in a high growth, unstructured, and fast-paced environment

  • Experience using Zoom for online meetings and trainings

  • Experience using Confluence, Mindtickle, and leading LMS solutions and platforms
