Customer Experience Operations Agent - DC

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspired, and hardworking Customer Experience Operations Agent to provide support to Parallel guests, vendors, and building partners.  As an integral team member, you will be responsible for communicating with Parallel clients across the country, updating and maintaining internal tools with up to date information, maintaining clean and functional units within local buildings, and assisting the department with important special projects.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide enthusiastic and personalized customer service to Parallel clients. 
  • Inspect local properties for cleanliness and functionality.
  • Resolve in stay guest issues within your local market.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Parallel technology, policies, and best practices. 
  • Gain an intimate knowledge of buildings or units within your market. 
  • Proactively resolve guest or vendor issues as they are reported. 
  • Book reservations by closing lead opportunities. 
  • Accurately and effectively manage enter booking information into relevant systems. 
  • Attend weekly meetings. 
  • Maintain company culture by having an upbeat and open attitude. 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with building staff and vendors. 
  • Communicate with Parallel clients and internal stakeholders promptly and professionally. 

We’re looking for somebody who:

  • Speaks English. 
  • Has reliable transportation. 
  • Has a strong understanding of internet technology. 
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Types at least 50WPM.
  • Has a strong home internet connection.
  • Is flexible and adaptable, able to work well in an evolving environment.  
  • Has traveled or has a strong desire to travel!

Your first 90 Days

  • Develop a strong understanding of our business and be able to communicate that to internal and external clients.
  • Know how to quickly and professionally respond to inquiries. 
  • Become proficient in all our technology platforms: SalesForce, Property Management Softwares, NoiseAware, etc. 
  • Know where to find and update information for all facets of our business. 
  • Have asked lots of questions to help set you up for success!
  • Become a subject matter expert on our internal processes and best practices. 
  • Become a subject matter expert on your specific market, including the units that are located there.
  • Routinely hit all goals in relation with inquiry response time and conversion rates.
  • Able to be relied upon to provide world class service during off-peak hours to all Parallel clients. 
  • Learned the general process of property onboarding and listing building.
