The mission of the Purchasing Agent role includes replenishment of supplies, tracking inventory levels, and the coordination of logistics for ongoing replenishment orders.
As we move away from the current“rent” furniture and supply model while fleshing out our brand identity with higher quality and less available product, the burden of tracking, purchasing, and generally replenishing supplies will become more time consuming and require more expertise than it does now.
What you’ll be doing:
Take ownership of the replenishment of all supplies or materials at Parallel travel units to ensure a predictable quality experience for both guests and vendors when interacting with our company.
Actively work with our remote vendors and remote employees to create a system to track inventory dynamically.
Ensure that we never run out of consumable supplies in Parallel markets.
Track all placed orders and coordinate the delivery of materials as they arrive at Parallel properties.
We’re looking for someone with:
1 year of purchasing experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
1 year of logistics management experience
