What You Will Bring to the Team
The Engineering team at Wizeline seeks candidates for a paid 3-month Trainee Program. Participants will hone their skills in web programming languages and learn development best practices, all while gaining valuable experience on an Agile development team.
As a Trainee you will work in a product development environment along with an experienced engineer who will act as your mentor while you also take leveling courses on relevant technologies .
Trainees will have weekly evaluations, which will be used to identify potential full-time hires. Those who demonstrate tremendous ability and performance will be offered a full-time contract with Wizeline.

Your Day-to-Day Activities
You will be mentored by senior Engineers on what we consider to be the skills required to be a Software Engineer at Wizeline. At the same time you will partner with experienced Wizeline Engineers who will guide you through the development of one of our key internal platforms provided by Wizeline Academy.
Are You a Fit?
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or proven experience working with software for 1+ years
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
- You have a basic understanding of Github and have experience with code repositories
- Frontend and backend basic knowledge leveraging some of the following web technologies and frameworks:
- ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js for frontend
- Express.js, Django, and Flask for backend
- Databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Basic knowledge of data structures
- Highly proactive
- Coachable and reliable
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Highly motivated to learn
