The Role: Business Analyst Consultant

As a Business Analyst Consultant, you will become a key driver in facilitating our continued growth by partnering cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders across the organization to help define business challenges through in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. You will analyze complex data, outline detailed requirements and present the proposal to the Executive Team and Senior Management. 

Develop close working relationships with executive staff to deliver sustainable and consistent valuable information.

You’ll work closely with the business to identify: useful information, opportunities to support critical business strategies, and improvement of business processes through meaningful standardization of data and processes.

Your Day-to-Day

This job posting is for Business Analyst Consultant on our Planning & Operations Team. Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:

  • Be a trusted Executive Staff contact for operational and strategic questions, developing the relationship through face-to-face discussions or workshops.
  • Gather and analyze commercial data, such as budgets, sales pipeline and results, and forecasts; including competitive analysis.
  • Set priorities with all team members in regards to data analysis and presentations for Executive Staff.
  • Identify substandard processes through evaluation across business units..
  • You´ll turn data into understandable information, able to deliver clear goal-driven data reports and dashboards to each department, leading to insights that will help with accurate and effective business decisions.
  • Prepare presentations for various complex ideas and prepare visual and written interpretations to present tactical and strategic plans.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to understand necessary analysis in a collaborative manner, communicating efficiently and effectively.
  • Deliver monthly status reports to all stakeholders.
  • A key role that will help Execute Staff to achieve the desired outcome for Board meetings by designing, preparing, and sharing documents and presentations to all stakeholders.

Must-have Skills

  • BA/BS degree in finance, administration, or in a related field.
  • 4+ years of consulting experience in an established strategic/management consulting organization.
  • Experience being an analyst in Finance and Sales areas
  • Good understanding of business flow, processes, and outcomes 
  • Critical thinking skills; with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities to drive meaningful data standardization.
  • Ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively to produce solutions to challenges
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard analytic tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
