What You Will Bring to the Team:

The Identity and Access Management Expert is responsible for providing advisory and solutions to our largest enterprise customers and helping them address their biggest security concerns. The expert identifies and prioritizes security-related requirements related to IAM implementations, promotes security-by-design principles, and facilitates the integration of multiple third-party services and applications to the IAM system. 

A successful candidate must have a strong technical background with extensive knowledge as Identity and Access Management Specialist, Security Operations Engineer, Security Analyst. 

 

Your Day-to-Day Activities

  • Provide consultancy to clients about Identity Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Third-Party Access Delegation, and access rights modeling.
  • Analyze system architectures to design appropriate IAM schemes that enforce security best practices and standards.
  • Perform risk and security assessments of IAM implementations; develop appropriate risk treatment and mitigation options, and effectively articulate operational teams and management.
  • Provide technical expertise through the implementation of security controls, best practices, and documented procedures.
  • Work with other engineering teams to prioritize and drive remediation of gaps.
  • Provide tactical and strategic guidance and detailed remediation advice aimed at helping clients achieve strong security postures.
  • Obtain and evolve technical expertise, certifications, and industry credentials through formal and informal training and other educational initiatives.

 

Are You a Fit?

To be successful in this role, you must have:

 

  • 3+ years of experience and hands-on working knowledge with a variety of IAM technologies such as: Okta, Ping Identity, OneLogin, ForgeRock, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in any of the following security profiles: application security, cloud security, DevSecOps, security operations.
  • Experience and hands-on working knowledge with a variety of identity standards like: OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, JWT.
  • Programming capabilities (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in scripting and working with APIs.
  • Understanding of software security architecture and design.
  • Understanding of security and risk principles.

 

Other nice-to-have qualities we appreciate are:

  • Experience with Ping Identity is a big plus. 
  • Highly effective technical communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (PCI, ISO, SOX, SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, etc).
  • Experience working with SIEM technologies.
