About the IT Specialist role
We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join Wolt's team in Helsinki as an IT Specialist. You’ll be improving the quality of life at the heart of the company, as you own both running and developing our software and hardware support, software access management and information security support and related projects.
With your talent, expertise and character, you make our everyday run smoothly and enable others at Wolt to concentrate on what they do best.
The role is located in our People team at our headquarters in Kamppi, Helsinki. It also includes helping out the 300+ people in the 15 other Wolt countries around Europe. There will also be lots of room to grow, as we tripled in our headcount last year and will see enormous growth this year, as well.
In the role, your core responsibilities will be:
- Software access and account management, including services such as Google Apps, Slack, VPN, AWS, etc.
- Providing day-to-day IT support to our fellow colleagues, either face-to-face or virtually
- Handling hardware orders and repairs as well as hardware asset management
- Defining key processes related to IT and asset management, end-user support and other key areas, like employee onboarding
- Shaping clear and smart tech support policies and instructions
- Keeping our meeting room A/V setups in shape
- Different kind of IT-related development projects
What we look from you?
What we will most appreciate is impressive experience in a similar holistic IT support / specialist / lead role combined with a positive "Let's do this!" attitude. You have previously shown that you get a lot of things done while keeping multiple balls in the air at the same time. You like a combination of being able to both share your expertise and learn new things every week.
Wolt is operating in 15 countries, and working with us requires lots of written communication in the form of emails, work chat (Slack) messages, guides and policies. What also comes in handy in this role is the ability to keep others up to date about what you are doing, when and why. That’s why we also put emphasis on clear and concise written communication skills in English. What’s also key is that you are a precise and meticulous person.
