As a Product Manager on our Content group, you’ll focus on the parts of our app and website that collect and data mine volumes of detailed content about local businesses. The Content group’s goal is to provide unique insights to consumers using Yelp’s information about local businesses by focusing on content quality, depth, and coverage. You’ll work closely with our Product Design team to build beautiful and useful products for consumers.
As a Content Products PM, you’ll be responsible for products (including UI) that collect rich content from our vast and vibrant community of millions of contributors. You’ll have the opportunity to think creatively about making contributing to Yelp engaging, rewarding, and beneficial to the community of users who rely on Yelp every day.

What You Will Do:
Work closely with our engineering, design and data science teams to set the vision for the product.
Own your product area’s destiny and create roadmaps and processes for the team to reflect this vision.
Sift through our mountains of high-quality data to deliver personalized, contextual information to Yelp users.
Delve into the mechanics of creating high-quality user generated content to engage the community and grow reviews.
Analyze data to understand key leverage points in the core product experience that will influence long-term user retention.
What We Look For:
3+ years of experience building consumer facing products, especially community oriented products.
Passion for UX: your wireframes convey a product vision.
Solid understanding of how to grow metrics and lots of practice running experiments.
Great with data: you can run your own queries and turn data into actionable insights.
Experience managing the development process: you know how to make things happen.
Play well with others - enjoy sharing knowledge and ideas with others as much as learning from them!
