Yelp is seeking a rockstar marketing strategist looking for an exciting challenge! We are building a world-class performance marketing organization and are looking to bring top talent to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

The Performance Marketing team is a growth engine at Yelp. Our charter is to drive profitable acquisition of users across paid marketing channels (search, display, in-app, affiliate, and more) and grow the Yelp brand using a multi-million dollar annual budget. We partner with product, engineering, and creative to test new channels, build our technology stack, and highlight new features. We enjoy working together to solve new challenges whether it’s entering a new business category or cooking a three course meal at a team offsite. What you'd be doing:

  • Drive significant business user growth via digital advertising campaigns
  • Build, monitor, and optimize campaigns to connect with business owners
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop end-to-end strategies to test new hypotheses
  • Collaborate with creative team to concept new ad themes
  • Lead exploratory conversations with new advertising and technology partners

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, or growth at a fast-paced company
  • Exceptional data-driven marketer with demonstrated understanding of bidding strategies, user segmentation, and lifetime value
  • Deep knowledge of managing social, display, and programmatic platforms (Facebook, Google Display Network, Yahoo Gemini, etc.)
  • Superior hands-on analytic skills including Excel modeling and interest in learning SQL, with the ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights
  • Strong interpersonal collaboration skills (teams and individuals request to work with you again)
  • Quantitative undergraduate degree from leading institution
  • Enthusiasm for using digital marketing to deliver the right messages at the right times
