Yelp works with thousands of partners, from small startups to large, established players such as Apple, Amazon Alexa and Uber Eats to bring Yelp’s unique and trustworthy local data to their product offerings. Yelp’s content is available in more than half of new vehicles sold in the U.S., with integrations in dozens of automotive brands, including Ford Motor Company, BMW, Audi, and many more. Yelp’s content also powers sales, market and risk intelligence & insights for companies such as Experian, Sprinklr and more.

We are looking for a product leader who can help scale this new but fast-growing multi-million dollar line business for Yelp by identifying, evaluating and launching new data products (APIs, Data Feeds, Dashboards etc.) we can either sell to existing or new markets and customer segments. You will be responsible for defining the product strategy, vision and roadmap for our key data product offerings, leading a team of product managers. You will work closely with our business development and sales teams to bring these data products to market. Some of the products you will work on but are not limited to are the Yelp Fusion and Yelp Knowledge.

Where You Come In:

Define the product strategy and roadmap for Yelp’s suite of data monetization products both current and yet to be conceived.
Hire and develop a team of Product Managers into strong leaders and help your team craft their objectives, KPIs and roadmaps.
Use data, market, and customer research to identify new opportunities, data partnerships and markets for monetizing Yelp data.
Work with Strategy, Business Development and Sales teams to create value proposition, go-to-market strategy and product-market fit for new data monetization products.
Identify and build data partnerships to make Yelp data more valuable and actionable. Regularly benchmark data comprehensiveness & quality.
Evangelize Yelp data internally to boost the data product offering by identifying new features we can build on the consumer app.
Work with several technical teams at Yelp including Applied Machine Learning, Data Platform and Content Platform to identify new data sets and signals we can offer as part of our data monetization suite of products.
Regularly communicate the vision, strategy and roadmap with executive leadership.

What It Takes To Succeed:

Multiple years of hands-on experience delivering highly successful and innovative products that drive impact and revenue.
Experience leading a team of PMs: You are personally invested in coaching, mentoring and making great PMs even better.
Focused on building businesses: Experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics.
Experience working with technical engineering and data science teams and driving complex projects from ideation to successful launch.
All-around leader: you can create a product vision that others want to follow.
Customer obsession: you genuinely care for our customers and deeply understand the needs of the customer and make sure that those needs are well understood by your teams.

What You'll Get:

This opportunity has the option to be fully remote in locations across the US.
Compensation range is $138,000-312,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
