What we need you to do:
You will work primarily with internal customers across the globe to provide them IT support and ensure they are satisfied with the solutions you provide in real time, while following standard operating procedures (SOP). In addition, you will need to:
-Diagnose and troubleshoot global & remote end-user IT problems (analyzing the problem, identifying appropriate resources, testing proposed fixes and follow-up to ensure the problem has been resolved)
-Provision devices to new hires around the world, with secure equipment and access - starting them off on day one
-Take ownership of retrieving IT hardware from employees when they exit the organisation
-Manage and deploy a set of phone testing devices for Zendrive staff, prospects & customers
-Manage IT device security (disk encryption & anti-virus software) remotely for global users per SOC2 requirements
-Add/remove & maintain access for various software applications as per SOC2 requirements
-Provide on-site IT support for Bengaluru office located in Indiranagar neighborhood (once it is safe for staff to return)
-Manage a case count of 5-10 tickets (could be more depending on situation) a day from different locations
-Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users
What you need to have:
Along with strong verbal skills, and the proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff, you will need to have prior experience and knowledge of network device administration, Linux Shell and Windows PowerShell as well as firewall and router debugging and administration. In addition, you will need:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field
-Associate in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with mobile device management (such as Meraki), Microsoft SCCM, remote device monitoring and management
-Prior experience in remote and onsite MacOS and Windows debugging and administration
-Knowledge of managing and debugging tools like Gmail, Slack, Atlassian, etc.
-ISP management and monitoring knowledge
-3 - 4 years’ experience in help desk or desk-side support environment
-To be comfortable with flexible shifts (some overlap with different time zones will be required); 1-2 hours / day of off-hours and/or weekend work when required
-To be trusted with confidential, time-sensitive staffing changes
-Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
-Display a commitment to quality and strong multi-tasking skills
