About the role:
Here at ZenProspect, our Product Manager works closely with our engineers, designers, customer development team, and customers to conceive and guide products from conception to launch. This role reports directly to our CEO and is our first internal Product Manager role. You will bridge the technical and business worlds as you design features that our customers love.
3+ years driving and executing product decisions as a product manager within the sales software domain
Experience building out new product development teams (either as a direct manager or through informal leadership)
Excellent track record of working with engineering and design teams: people want to work with you again
Have a strong bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive decisions and product development at ZenProspect
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering, or relevant experience
Bonus points: experience building out new product development teams (either as a direct manager or through informal leadership)
Collaborate with our CEO on the full product life-cycle from strategic planning through MVP refinement, story creation, development, and deployment
Partner with engineering and design teams to ship new, robust features, including preparing necessary technical specifications, coordinating development activity, and tracking the progress of in-flight projects
Work closely with product marketing, customer success, researchers, analysts — and users — to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, road-map plans, and detailed specifications
Own the process, review and interpret large bodies of qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new product insights
