This is an amazing opportunity for a top-tier Sales Strategy and Operations Director to lead sales GTM planning, analytics, and operations at ZeroCater. The ideal candidate has built sales GTM plans, created analytics/reporting frameworks, and built the operations engine to fuel sales productivity at a high growth company. The candidate is responsible for building the sales strategy and operations team at ZeroCater, and will be the primary business partner to the VP of Sales. Candidate should have experience managing a team, while also being able to execute as an individual contributor.
At ZeroCater, we believe one of the easiest, and most effective, ways to build culture is through shared office food programs. We make it easy for companies to feed their employees delicious, family-style meals and keep exciting snack programs fully-stocked with variety and rotation. ZeroCater has successfully launched our core product, Managed Catering, into 6 local markets and are excited to be offering Snacks + Beverages to enterprise clients in San Francisco with anticipated growth into new markets in the near future. ZeroCater is changing a 130 billion dollar industry and continues its trend of being revenue positive and sustaining year over year growth.  


  • Own all aspects of sales GTM planning in conjunction with the VP of sales.
  • Build and own the sales plan including headcount capacity planning, quota and compensation planning, and our booking and revenue models.
  • Work with sales management and marketing to carve territories, tier accounts, build personas and propensity to buy models.
  • Define and optimize our sales process and own our cost of scale metric as we continue to scale and specialize roles.
  • Build and own all sales operations including Salesforce dashboards and reporting, CRM data hygiene and accuracy, sales commissions reporting, sales tools and systems, etc.


  • 7+ years’ experience in sales strategy and operations (ideally at high growth tech company).
  • Comfortable presenting to and partnering with executives to solve complex business challenges.
  • Currently owning carving territories across multiple sales roles and regions with headount plans and capacity models
  • Experience creating compensation plans and setting quotas for multiple sales roles and regions.
  • Expert level experience with excel, experience building advanced models and experience with SQL, BI tools/data warehouse, and salesforce dashboards/reporting.
  • 4-year degree from a top-tier University, MBA a plus.
