Zoox's Simulation team is building the world's most advanced simulation engine and framework for autonomous vehicle technology. As our Graphics Engineer you will enable our simulators to generate high-fidelity rendering that matches what the real camera sensors see. You will be responsible for implementing modern rendering techniques and taking full advantage of the most recent and greatest hardware features. You will work directly with world-class vision teams to ultimately validate the safety of Zoox's autonomous driving software.
Strong knowledge of graphics technologies, algorithms, and datastructures
Strong knowledge of C++ and experience in large code bases
Solid knowledge of 3D math and linear algebra
Game engine programming experience
Publications on simulation technologies for autonomous vehicles or other AI applications
Experience shipping a realtime graphics-intensive product
Knowledge of GPU APIs like Cuda, Vulkan, DirectX 12 or DXR is a plus
