Zoox is looking for a camera test engineer to support qualification and acceptance testing for production camera systems in our autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience defining, building, and implementing camera tests that cover all system specifications as well as experience bringing up comparable tests with global suppliers targeted for high-volume production. Strong communication skills are critical in this role in order to convey test plans to contract manufacturers and to review acceptance test reports.
BS in computer science, physics, or optics
2+ years of relevant professional experience
Image Quality Tests (e.g. MTF and straylight)
Technical writing for end-user documentation
Strong communication skills
Experience with Unix/Linux
Experience programming with C++, Qt, Git/GitHub
