Zoox is looking for a candidate with a background in Optical system technology (e.g. imaging, lasers, etc.) to support qualification and acceptance testing for production camera systems in autonomous vehicles. Candidate should have experience defining, building, and implementing camera tests that cover all system specifications. Candidate should also have experience bringing up comparable tests with global suppliers targeted for high-volume production. Strong communication skills are required to convey test plans to contract manufacturers and to review acceptance test reports.
B.S. in Computer Science, Physics, or Optics
2+ years professional experience
Image Quality Tests (e.g. MTF and straylight)
Technical writing for end-user documentation
Experience with Unix/Linux
Experience Programming with C++, Qt, Git/GitHub
