In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our fast-growing C++ build of safety-critical autonomous vehicle software. This will involve configuring and upgrading compilers, building for multiple target architectures, reducing build times, building and upgrading third party dependencies from source, and ultimately being the go-to person for any build-related questions. We have a solid foundation using Bazel in a monolithic repository along with a remote build farm and cache. We are looking for a passionate developer who enjoys diving into compiler and linker errors and offering guidance to developers to support our fast-paced development culture.
Knowledge of C++ build process.
Experience configuring compilers
Experience building and deploying to multiple target architectures
Familiarity with maintaining large C++ code bases
Deep C++ experience.
Bazel build system familiarity
Intimate knowledge of nm, objdump, ldd, gdb, valgrind, etc
