Vehicle Reliability Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the vehicle-level targets for reliability together with internal stakeholders
  • Cascade those targets to the Vehicle Systems teams and EE Integration teams
  • Support the validation engineers in developing virtual and physical test plans to prove out designs
  • Establish and facilitate failure mode analysis throughout the engineering organization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters-level degree with 10+ years hands on experience in Reliability Engineering
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer, or similar
  • Detailed understanding of Automotive Systems and typical failure modes
  • Deep understanding of FIT, MTTF, RPTV metrics and how to develop component reliability targets
  • Experience in failure mode assessment, testing acceleration and advanced monitoring concepts is highly preferable 
  • An understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety would be preferred
  • Personable with the ability to lead and coach a high calibre engineering team toward world class levels of reliability/dependability
