The Infrastructure team is looking for a Software Engineer to build out the infrastructure and frameworks necessary to implement best practices in microservices across the Zoox cloud. This system will be directly responsible for ensuring that we are efficiently assigning jobs to our robots.
Examples of jobs include: Rideshare Trips, Charging Trips, Charging, Cleaning, and etc. It is the core of our automated fleet management platform and the brains behind connecting our riders to our Bots.
Bachelors degree in an engineering, math, or related field
Fluency in C / C++, or Python
Extensive experience with programming and algorithm design
Strong mathematics skills
Masters degree in computer science or related degree
Experience handling large data sets
Experience with web technologies (AWS, S3, EC2, SQL, HTML, JS, CSS)
Solid understanding of ROS
