As HVAC Integration Engineer on the Thermal Systems Integration team, you will be responsible for integrating the systems which drive customer pleasing cabin comfort performance. In this highly cross-functional role, you will develop requirements, solve challenging thermal problems, create and test prototypes, and implement and test solutions on autonomous Zoox robots. You will analyze complex data sets and make design recommendations.

Work with attribute leads, other integration engineers and hardware owners to develop word class cabin comfort performance.
Analyze physical and simulated test results and provide design recommendations to improve and optimize cabin comfort performance.
Work closely with thermal controls and firmware teams to develop robust and pleasing HVAC controls schemes.
Lead evaluations on Zoox robots and test benches both locally and remotely.
Experience developing and integrating HVAC systems into vehicle architectures.
Experience developing solutions for overall passenger-pleasing cabin comfort.
Fundamental understanding of thermodynamics and heat-transfer principles.
5+ years of experience in automotive integration, mechanical design or controls development.
BS or higher in Mechanical, Controls or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with model development and data analysis in Matlab/Simulink or experience with CFD tools.
