Duration: Full-Time

Simulation at Zoox is a diverse group of artists and engineers working to automate the generation of scenarios to prepare our robots autonomous operation. 

We are looking for a Technical Artist with strong procedural modelling skills to join our Tech Art team and help build virtual worlds that push real-time 3D graphics to the limit of modern hardware.  

You'll have access to state-of-the-art real world data, artist created content and innovative rendering technology to help create procedural systems generate and populate large areas.


  • Strong knowledge of Houdini including Vex and Python
  • Proven background producing world class content
  • Strong eye for visual realism

Bonus Qualifications

  • Real-time experience in Unreal or similar engine
  • Familiarity with large pipelines
  • Experience shipping a large product as a team (e.g. AAA game release)
