Manager,  Global Sales Enablement (Field Effectiveness)

The goal of the Field Effectiveness team is to own/influence any initiative to help the Field achieve 40% growth – for example:  sell more, sell faster, build improved customer relationships, be more productive and reduce ramp time. This is a highly visible and strategic role  critical to the success of the Field organization.
 
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with field leadership to determine key needs and define sales development programs that drive productivity and bookings
Develop a comprehensive onboarding plan (bootcamp) and continuous development program for the Field (Sales, Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, Pre-Sales, Global Services, SDRs and Customer Support with clear deliverables, metrics and adoption plans
Confidently deliver in-classroom training for managers, experienced field reps and new hires world-wide – presented as the voice of experience
Facilitate workshops during global Quarterly Business Reviews
Design, develop and deliver a global annual Field Kickoff event including project management, communication and workshop facilitation
Manage Learning Management System, content and training deliverables as well as contributing to the design, development and delivery of content
Act as a key member of the sales leadership team to conduct business, territory, account and opportunity plan review and provide direct input/coaching for improvement
Work with our Sales Operations/Finance team to further develop and maintain forward-looking metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to improve results
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the sales process and to assist Field Management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
Act as a liaison/partner between Field, Marketing, Finance, HR and other internal stakeholders
Manage the rollout, adoption and knowledge transfer of sales tools and best practices
Identifying need for external vendors- managing the business case, requirements list, vendor negotiations, selection implementation and adoption
Track and report on status towards goals including presentation to senior leadership team
 
 

 
 
Requirements:
 
 
 
5+ years of proven leadership and management experience
Quota Carrying/Sales experience a must
Demonstrated knowledge of and can teach value selling and other sales methodologies
Ability to travel globally and manage multiple time-zones
Strong presentation, facilitation, project management, leadership and communication skills
Solid experience with B2B SaaS sales and business fundamentals
Experience with contracting and managing vendors for learning, content and relationship management and field effectiveness
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across multiple departments
Proven ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities simultaneously
Effective communication, both written and verbal
Self-starter who is successful at meeting deadlines
